Hi Paddl,

The show you are refering too is Sligo and District All Breed Champ Show. I have just checked the results on the irish results site as like you I was not there.
The Puppy dog you are refering to that took the res green star was PALUKA HERO. Well I can assure you the judge Mr Stapleton did not breed this dog I DID.
My name is Paula Ingham and I live in the North East of England. Here is my web site address www.palukagsd.com

Buttons, excellent post good to hear from someone who was actually there. You are correct that a thread like this is a very sorry thing, but this is the world of Paddl, welcome. Liz

Once again Paddy L you have given Irish Dogs and Judges a bad name, If you did not witness anything on the day, well keep your personal opinion to yourself. At the end of the day if makes no matter who you think shoud win a show, Its up to the Judge, and if you feel think, your dog, or what you breed, want to win should, WELL GET OUT OF DOGS, As to the Judges son handling, so what, its not his son being judged its the dog,

People forget that Dog Shows are suppose to be Fun, if you do well, well done, and if you dont, best of luck next time, every judge is entitled to his/her own opinion, and as for handlers I doubt the IKC will have any problem. After all its time people learned THE JUDGES DISCISSION IS FINAL ( NO MATTER WHAT)

Paddy L : I wasnt at the show, and even if i were, I would congrat winners and other Places and wish them best in the future, Some Judges like what others dont, and this cant be changed.

Any Judge can have dogs breed by them under them on the day, and Hopefully the judge will make the right discission, However Judges should not enter ther own, ( which he didnt) Being Friendly with a Judge, Handler Friendly with a Judge, BULL, put ya dog in the ring and work it.

regards
Colin

I personally was not at the show, but where is the days when one heard the saying "I am in it for the breed" ,sorry to say there is  to many rumors and to much bitching, come on its time to grow up.

Are we here for the bred and the betterment there off, if so then lets see it, not your own puppy sales.

Its more disgraceful that grown adults getting on like this, is this the type of person or persons one like to say I walked the short time we have here on earth, not I.

It has been said before and was the case when I first started showing to be a fun day out with our dogs, and family, how many raised our family at shows, wound'nt want them near it now, come on shame on you, no more over shame on us all, to have allowed it to go this far.

If one looks at statement made before the judge of Bangor show has been tarnished before the show has happen, surely there is exhibitors out to see alls going on here is someone trying to deplete the entry and has that no been the case, time local judges are support and encouraged, gow up please.

I love my dogs and believe they are good dogs as do we all, but we need to see some other kennels have better, don't be that small that you can't tell it to your fellow exhitbitor, and remember the dog I like and value and is the dog who fill my eye may not be the same dog that fills yours.

That is why we have one breed but many diferent types, is that not true in life and the human race.

LETS ALL PUT THE PASSED IN THE PASSED, LET US GET BACK TO THE FUN AND ENJOYABLE DAYS OUT AT THE SHOWS, PROMOTING THE BREED AND SHOWS, SEEING THE NUMBER OF DOGS GROWING IN THE RING, BACK TO THE DAYS WHEN THE NUMBERS OF DOGS EXIBITED AT CHAMP SHOWS NOW ARE THE NUMBERS AT OPEN SHOWS.
Think about it, lets get read of the padl's of this world we don't need them or does this breed
