i wasn't referring to you.

i'm not a breeder eitherand my handling skills are ordinary at best,  but i will back my own dog to be more dog than whatever hexe or jen can show evidence for and i have no idea what they even got, but i have a pretty good idea, whatever, they want to start running their mouths on dogs and handling, bring it.

by OpticNerve on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

they may have very good dogs but they are probably imports the problem here is reproducing what they have, people in america for some reason cant do it like the euros can and i have no idea why????

Any vids jenni or hexe?

by OpticNerve on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

vk4 i sent u a pm

by vk4gsd on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

no pm???

try again?

i believe euro has advantage of more clubs and bigger/older dog culture for bite work + some places in euro still need working dogs cos people depend on their working ability to survive, just my guess, i do not know really.

optic nerve you are assuming things that are not correct, just last month I supplied german shepherds to german police, also many police around the world prefers still to have GSD, also from my breeding (gsd) are used in law enforcement in many countries

we have demand for good malinois only by some companies and departments, but these are much harder to find than good GSD, I would say around 80 % of all dogs I ship out for LE is  German shep, or German shepherd mix,

by OpticNerve on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

in germany? so the dominant dog is still the shepherd? hapy to hear duke thank you

thank you for supply

by OpticNerve on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

by OpticNerve on 21 November 2014 - 23:11

so we have germany, and uk,

THe west german dogs I have always seemed so sporty though? so high prey? well my west german was like that, he was good in shutzund type stuff but like he sucked in pp. Not a dog i would want with me in a bad situation lol Tried to see if i could train in pp but it just was not for him he did not like it, so i stopped.  Was not fair. I will only train a dog in that kind of training if they drool at the though of biting a naked man.

This is the production record of 3 generations of GSD's whelped in the US from 2 German imports. It is not complete yet, at least 10 more GSD's from these breedings are in training for their TDX, UD. UDX2, IPO1, 2,3, rally titles, advanced agility; not all titles have been counted and incuded in this tally.. Maybe not police dogs, but IMO it takes some special dogs and intelligent breeding programs to accomplish this in 3 generations from 3 litters. And each and every one one has been HOT and BHOT to each and every title. And did I mention they are GSL's and ASL's?

IPO3-3; IPO2-3; IPO1-4; CD-11; CDX-9; UD-4; UDX-1; 7 rally titles; 28 agility titles; 4 AKC Champions including one Grand Champion; 1 UKC CH; 7 BH‘s; 8 AD‘s; 10 CGC‘s; 1 TD, 1 VCD1; 1 VCD2; 1 OM1; 4 KKL1; 5 TC’s; 1 service dog, .  2 GSDCA Dual Award and 2 Dual Award Excellent. 4 have been awarded the GSDCA PAM, 2 V rated at the German  and Austrian Siegers, 1 HGH trained, dogs producing guide dogs for the blind.

If you are assuming that American breeders aren't doing a good job with showlines, working lines, combos, then you would be greatly mistaken. Read Duke's post to learn of the great things his dogs have done. Most US breeders don't run around tooting their own horns. You have to do your homework to find them. They don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk.

I invite other members of the database to tell about their dogs and their accomplishments. Listen and learn.
