To Pia - just a query, so I hope you do not take offense. My questions are: What do you hope to achieve by using this dog in your breeding program - what is your objective for using him? I noticed that both of the litters you have planned with him for 2016 are only remotely line-bred in the 5-5 or 5-4 generations, so not heavy on that IMO. What traits in your females do you want to complement/improve with using Veus?
And lastly, If this dog was not in your kennel for breeding, would you be singing his praises as you are?

To answer this question and a very good question :) YES I would admire this dog if he was not standing in my kennel . People who know me know I give credit where credit is due . Look at him ! it really doesn't matter who owns him :)
living with this dogs since early January I can honestly say .This dog is very powerful on the field , aggression to the helper ,super clear in the mind ,crushing grip after protection I put him in the back seat of my truck with leather seats :) The dog is alloof , never hostile , alert and super self confident the picture on pedigree data base is 24 hours after arrival here in the US . I took him to a large social/training gathering :) He turns into a puppy with my grandchildren they call him Teddy bear . This dog will bring my breeding program to another level .The quality of this male is super inside and out . Like I said not a well known dog . I do not heavy line breed on any of my litters I believe I made one 3-3 breeding since 1994 :) that is a total other topic thoughts about line breeding it's pro and it's cons :) My female Panta very nice female litter males are Petra IPO3 -Pike IPO3 AWDF FH Champion _ Pax PSA1 BH, P-Kona SAR - Patton BH ( soon IPO1 )Pia companion) nice female but I can see a bit of unsettleing in her , you meet her you won't see it but I live and train her :) ( I am my dogs worth critic) Veus will enhance the nerve strenght in this line and keep the balance I been breeding for ,for many years . dogs out of my breeding program are know to work yet be also dogs you can live with . I won't have it any other way this is the reason I can breed litter after litter and a few go to working homes and many end up in companion homes and I have no dogs biting kids over aggressive reactive dogs you have to lock up .
The female Molly von der Borngasse is an exceptional female with high working desire Veus will compliment her qualities in conjuction with his .:) Veus co owner and breeder is taking a male pup from her and Veus. video link on the female shown by me at the IPO Regionals. female was purchased with a BH . You can or can not take my word for it it really does not matter . You need to come to your own conclusion good question though :)

I am not able to see the video,too..

But this is something I am able to understand:

" YES I would admire this dog if he was not standing in my kennel . People who know me know I give credit where credit is due . Look at him ! it really doesn't matter who owns him :) "

Sometimes you have the pleisure to meet a dog you fall in love with, simply because he/she embodies everything you have been looking for for decades.

a dog that I very much admired but was unfortunate that my female stayed empty was Uno vom Siegener Krönchen owned by a USA judge . I had tears rolling down my cheeks when I was informed the dog died :( He was strong confident awesome pigment a hell of a dog ! sadly he was only used a few times because some people think when you say wow this is a nice dog they think negative I don't know why but thats the way it is. I bred to this dog and never saw a lick of bite work did not need to :) I however do have a grand daughter of Uno There are very good dogs in the US . and you right Susie sometimes we do get that pleasure of meeting that dog and sometimes we even get lucky enough to have it right there next to us :) Veus is one of those . Not sure why link does not work sorry let me try pasting in here https://vimeo.com/106640745 Molly von der Borngasse enjoy :))

Nan writes To Pia: I love your dog; think he could produce some exceptional puppies, but also agree with Bubba and Joanro; how exceptional are the bitches that he is being bred to??

If they are anything less than exceptional, don't lower your stud dogs potential. Only breed the best to the best. Otherwise it is just more puppies out there that are mediocre. However, best of luck with him. Nan

so I ask you what is the best of the best ?? trophies ? placement ? accomplishments? see this is a topic in itself . No he will not be bred to scrup bitches and I already refused the "multipliers of the breed " that call them self breeder .thats a fact however this said in order to produce dogs that are functional in many tasks not just sport , a breeder must also evaluate dogs OFF THE FIELD away from conditioned/trained activities to determine a dogs worth for breeding , in addition if a dog requires to carry and object such as a ball in order to be OK with the world ( I call this the pacifier effect ) is very undesirable a dog that can not take pressure from the handler ( collar leash hands ) I am old school . What I call an exceptional female is rare, excellent are few ,very good many , good very high average to below high number and those that should not be bred tip the scale in the US . So to only ask for exceptional females to breed to a said stud dog is unreasonable and will also not be possible because such dogs are not common now my exceptional and your exceptional may be two different females :)
