KOOTS,
You beat me to it. I was going to say Tiekerhook. I had a male from Tiekerhook lines and he was a very handler dominant dog. Great working dog too.

Shawnicus,
You are looking for a female correct? If you want a handler aggressive, sharp dog I would a look at the Tiekerhook lines. As they are know to produce this type of dog.

I have a female from tiekerhook Manus is the grandfather if u want strong nerves and explosive power she would have had no problem bitting at 5months old she is strong dominant bitch who is very very territorial.she is not a dog for everyone u really need to know and understand how to handle her. She is4 now and I wouldn't b without her . But without the the right handler she would cause a lot of problems

I am confused (and not being sarcastic).

Why would anyone want a "sharp handler aggressive dog" and why would you want to breed that? I may not understand "sharp". To me that almost means fear biter and nervy...too quick to bite and not enough confidence to wait and evaluate the situation.

"Handler aggressive" just sounds like what it is and would transfer into a boatload of training problems. Can't fear biters often be "handler aggressive" when overloaded?

Again, not criticizing...just seeking to understand why this would be sought after.

Von Eganhaus. With the dog I am talking about at first she wanted to kill everything in sight but I taught her boundaries with good environmental training clear correcting and a lot of other stuff that would take to long to go in to .whit this type of dog there has to be fairness in correction timing has to be right. A dog like this will teach u a lot more in handling and working.than any soft dog imo. People imo that continue to get nailed by there dog are not listening to the dog and should not have this dog because they are not ready. when my female showed me aggression in situation I was bit twice . I then started to understand what she was telling me my timing was off witch made my correction to late witch in turn made it pointless and to her unfair there is obviously a lot more to understanding the dog but where experience comes in hope this helps a little

I guess, Shawni is looking for a dog with a low threshold, not for a "sharp" dog...

"Handler aggressive" = maybe "strong and hardheaded, able to "forgive"
"Dog aggressive" like "dominant / alpha" ?

A dominant, hard dog, with a low threshold, when not raised and trained properly, may show the traits he listed...
but a "nervy", "sharp" dog, when raised and trained properly, will almost show the same at first glance.

Are you looking for a puppy, or are you looking for an adult?

In case you are looking for a puppy your current situation ( already 2 dogs living together? ) will make it almost impossible for a pup to develop the traits you want.

In case you are looking for an adult, you should test the dog by yourself ( dominant with low threshold / nervy and sharp ).

What I can't understand is why the hell you'd want a dog-aggressive dog, if you already have 2 dogs living together? That spells trouble with a capital 'T'!  What Smile

Shawni

Dask is not a kennel ..he is a specific dog.
Heard also that Tiekerhook dogs tend to be smaller in size ( not sure if this is true ). I know Shawni previously mentioned that he is into larger dogs.

Haus Ming also produces this type of dog.

Shawnicus, if you acquire such dog, I would certainly be careful about ever breeding such dog to the same type dog. This is mistake that many novice breeders make. I'm not sure that there are many " lines" of WGWL ( or any line) , that consistently produce this dog, but I do think there are many WGWL litters that will have an individual puppy in litter that will meet this definition.
