Xeph

Nans, residual white has to do with how color spreads. Because we have no piebald or Irish spotting in this breed, it can't be genetic spotting in that manner.

The white these puppies had should fade for the most part

Wow--maybe Moo babies in a few years? I like where this is hopefully going...this litter intrigues me all the more knowing where you're seeking to head with them.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the other pups, too! They're all adorable!

While I do still want things I can show (because I enjoy it), and I'll be going back into AmLines at some point, there are a couple of Moo litters planned.  I am wanting to produce some animals for service work.  He had the size, and he definitely had the temperament.

One of those future litters is a Mikasa son to a Moo daughter.

I plan on breeding Mikasa to a working line for one of her litters.

Xeph, Riza looks like from a different litter. Nice pups and it's just pictures but I don't blame you at all for hanging on to her.

I used to just keep the ones I liked and let time (Hips, elbows, teeth etc.) sort them out.

Personally I'm in the nothing ventured nothing gained camp and it looks like you gained some nice traits from this. Time will tell.

best,
Rik

That's where I'm at right now LOL.  She is not my favorite structurally (overall, though she has traits I like), but I really like what I'm seeing temperamentally and drive wise.

I can't see the temperament and drive in the pic :) but I can see the pasterns, bone, head strength, nice not over done rear. Thinking the next generation of males from her (that's assuming a lot of things go right) might look pretty good in the AKC ring.

best,
Rik

There will be pics and video in the future :) Right now she's mostly a silly puppy. But I love how social she is, bold little thing, recovers well if she gets startled, willing to investigate, nicely balanced (right now) between her desire to explore and her willingness to return to me when called.
