Looking to find hip results on a dog, do they have a data base like OFA? Thanks

The VDH (Dutch kennel club) might have such records, or at least be able to point you from their website to where these results are available.

Not that I have found yet. My Remy was from Holland and I searched far and wide for hip results. They are done I believe thru the FCI system. That being said I was able to find some - but always taken with a grain of salt because I did also come across conflicting info in several cases. One recently the breeder showed one result and the owner's site showed a lesser rating.

The VDH HM cited above is NOT the Dutch kennel club. It is the DUTCH GSD  Club and they do have a pedigree db that includes some hip ratings. If you look at the Dutch breeder thread there is a link into the dB called DARWIN. Problem is I have found it not to be overwhelmingly accurate.

The Dutch kennel club is  Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Nederland

and they have 2 db - a pedigrre/health and a Studbook. Pedigree one can be searched by name or chip #. See

https://www.houdenvanhonden.nl/generaties-gezondheid-online/

The problem with both db is it can contain hip ratings from several systems but does not tell you which system issued the ratings thio you can guess based on the designation.

You can also check the SV db. Out of country dogs are sometime listed.

PM Fantom she has access to some breed books etc or knows others who have them.

Post the pedigree here, some of us might be familiar with the lines.

Also I will try to find for you a db I used created by the hard core working people in Belgium & Holland that even includes some if the crosses. Found some info there couldn't find elsewhere. Found it

https://www.bloedlijnen.nl/     zoek is search

Finally just from personal experience do not be surprised if you find a # of what we would consider less desirable hips. Have seen a # of Dutch working dog pedigrees with B Hips and even  dysplastic  dogs. Their focus seems to be does the dog do the work or as I oft say dogs don't read xrays.

TIG: apologies for getting the 2 mixed up !

Re your final point: yeah well sometimes they can get away with that attitude, I had a bitch with a really high score under the UK system, she never went off her legs. ;-)

i brought a dog from Holland and he came with paper work with his hip results, what i did is do OFA to double check the results, both came good.
