@Valk

Not sure how he does it but he seems to be able to register Kabuschsee dogs which are UCI through FCI

@carolyn

If registration doesnt matter to you then there are some European breeders who breed Kabuschsee DDR with some of the old lines.

ADMIN EDIT.... my comment above includes you, please take your personal issues with other members to PM, we do not need it on the forums. Looks to me that you all like to rant well please do it privately!!!! mrdarcy (mod)

.  If you want to know who some of the UCI DDR breeders are in Germany I will be glad to post them publicly so everyone reading this thread can learn.

katifer
yeah, i did meant Heike's dogs. she is a breeder with good eye and gut to well match the dogs for mating and produce very nice structurally build and functional outcome of breeding.
it's sux when such good dogs washed out of breed because bureaucratic approach of folks behind the office desks, who most likely never even own a dog.

Hello Stephanie...let me offer you a few words of advice when it comes to dogs..most people who are hardcore enthusiasts will take their dogs very seriously, that may cause some spirited conversations in person or on a forum setting. It does take a little bit of thick skin to participate in any forum about ANYTHING because everyone feels they have something to contribute and not everyone agrees with everyone.
I dont think anyone is "mean", but critiques can sometimes get pretty raw. I will tell you this, if you simply want to hear your opinion echoed, you wont get it...people will tell you how they feel about your opinion, your dog, your plans, etc.
Is that a bad thing? I dont think so, learning sometimes takes some waking up...

Now, why not tell everyone about your dog you want to breed, maybe post a pedigree here, where does she come from, why you want to breed her? She is two years old, I do not understand what opportunities she has missed or did not get? If you want to breed her, you must believe that you are making the breed better as you mentioned in your post...please tell us how.
Lastly Stephanie, dont be afraid to ask, participate, voice your opinion, etc...we all started out somewhere, none of us was born an expert. You may not always like the answers you get, but, consider why you are getting that answer, there may be a very valuable lesson in it, take care.

Stephanie, where did your post go, did you delete it? Do you care to expand on that "Wow" comment you made?

Thank you Stormin. Apparently Stephanie did not think so because she deleted her post and left, never to respond to my question about her "WOW" exclamation.

@Hired Dog I do not want to engage with you. Reading some points where sound advice yes. Others read out to be sarcastic and sassy... Maybe because it's text I interpreted it wrong. However reading some previous drama when I came in led me to believe that. I can handle positive criticism. When done in a positive way. I'm not a "snowflake" for lack of better term. One of my accounts on Instagram has a big following for a team of coil builders (totally different genre than here). However I had to have tough skin for that. Also my personal page on Instagram I had to leave behind @twistzdsista I say all this because lately I'm trying to have thinner skin 🤣 I'm humble and just want to learn. I don't want to get into any "spirited" discussions that are combative in nature, or raw discussions that come across aggressive. Especially since I can't reach in my phone and choke the aggressors jugular lol. Anyways enough of all that stuff.

I read a few of your comments on other feeds here about the grain free food and such I agree with. Also Zena is a great dog but I got her at around 4 months. The person did not raise her with the right stimulations and interactions. I don't think she was in a home setting, and was most likely ignored until it was time to sell her. We were not allowed to meet him at his home. When we got her home she was like a wild animal. Not socialized, ECT. She's come a long way now. When I get to have puppies I want to do everything the right way. With a bunch of well-informed group like yourselves. I don't want to be coddled, but I don't want to be talked down on. I'm not saying that's what's going to happen. However the whole drama * that happened earlier a couple pages back worried me. Also I'm finding inspiration already! from this group of people on this website. I forgot the name but he mentioned dogs being overweight, and flabby. This encourage me to get up and get my girl out there running again. I think that's it for now. I will lurk quietly until I need help on a specific subject that I don't trust Google to give me thank you

Stephanie, first, let me say that I have a sense of humor that may come across as sarcastic, but, I am not sarcastic, I am blunt, to the point and will tell you the truth, regardless of what you may want to hear.
Its hard to convey this across on a forum, but, that is the problem when you engage in one, you cannot tell what type of emotion the other person is conveying.
I have never had any social media, FB, Twitter, Instagram, so, I have no idea what goes on there. I prefer to live my life rather then try to read about how others live...
As far as the rest Stephanie, being on a public forum, we cannot control how others respond to our posts, I have had some raw responses and some "spirited" ones too, its part of the package, although, just like you, I wont engage in arguments.
There are a few people in here who are VERY knowledgeable in my areas of interest and I listen well when they post, even after 40 plus years of dogs.

I have a 4.5 month old puppy here that I think its the greatest puppy ever and if the temps ever drop below 108 every day, I may actually be able to take him out and do some work. I am one of those how believes that genetics are first and foremost, environment second and so far, his genetics have proven to be everything I asked for, plus more.
Anyway, welcome to the group, I hope you stay and participate, no, I am not being sarcastic, stay safe and take care.
