Are you hearing me?
I came to know that the pedigree of this dog has not been changed yet in the KCI. and the grand or great grand puppies are still represented with wrong pedigree. whom will you blame? its time to get the things fix after making such a blunder. Do it.

Hi,Though I accept Mr.Janz's version about Enco and give Mr.Desai the benefit of doubt that he was cheated by Enco's breeder,I want to put up one point. Why the original pedigree of Enco was never advertised in the Indian Kennel Gazette and in the GSD magazine published by Mr.Desai himself and why he didn't take any efforts in correcting Enco's pedigree with the KCI.Enco's sons/daughters are still advertised as ULK Gr.son/Gr.daughters and if Mr.Desai breeds out of Enco sons/daugthers he still gives the ULK papers.Does Mr.Janz has anything to say regarding this? However I'll like to close with one point that Enco(whoever his sire was)himself was a fabulous dog and was right choice as the 1st Indian Sieger and he was a fine producer too and gave beautiful croups which is getting very rare now-a-days.
Regards to all.

I'm not yet very clear about the Enco bloodline debate. His progeny in India are registered as Ulk grand-son/daughters.Why this confusion.Breeders in India have the right to know what exactly happened.

Not only the studs have to have their DNA tested. Every dog used for breeding has to have it. There is obviousely no time limit, you just have to have it done before you breed, so most send it out together with the hip pictures.

Jochen,

Do all German stud dogs have to be DNA proof. Are there some requirements for their off spring to DNA proofed at some stage?

Great honor to Enco/Stobuko his Granddaughter is SIEGERIN in the open class Bitches!!!!!!!!
Thanks to Mr.Sanjay Desai that I could have taken the blood , some years back, from India to Germany for the DNA proof , so "Wilson Agrigento" could stud and we have now that great siegerin!!!!!!

Could any one pls tell me that why is Enco's picture the same as his projected sire stobuku????

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
