need information on a schnauzer!! (hatzbachtal) - Page 1

Hi everyone.

My friend bought a schnauzer about 4 months ago and is trying to research the pedigree of the dog. Im assisting her with this as I have a bit more experience with pedigree's then her.
The dog is a 1 year old female Giant Schnauzer. We only have the names of the sire and dam for a pedigree.

We have been able to somewhat track the mother line but are having very dull luck trying to find anything out about the father. I have been researching and found that the father of the dog comes from a fairly well known kennel by the name of "Hatzbachtal". I cannot find any contact information for this kennel.

Does anyone know about this line of Schnauzer?

are you still looking for information about the kennel Hatzbachtal? It is a kennel here in Germany, in a town called Stadtallendorf. Unfortunately, the breeder doesn't have a homepage. Giant Schnauzers from Hatzbachtal are well known here in Germany for good quality working dogs, together with the kennel 'vom Elberfeld' they always rank high in competitions and trials where Schnauzers are involved. Our Schnauzer has a Hatzbachtal Grandmother in her pedigree.

There are some kennel names that keep appearing on working Riesenschnauzers pedigrees over and over and over again - none more so than Helmut Losekam's vom Hatzbachtal. Located in Stadtallendorf, Germany, 105 km north of Frankfurt. For more thent 25 years, many of todays top level RS participanting in PSK german championship, ISPU world championship, FCI world championship carry the Hatzbachtal name. Using the top producing working Riesenschnauzer Ali vom Hilbort as a foundtion male for the Hatzbachtal breeding program foundtion.. He produced multiple working champions like  super working dog Uran vom Hatzbachtal handled by  Karl Heinz-Reichel, who also Ali's owner and trainer, three-time participant in the German Champion (PSK-BLSP) winner in 1999, twice at the World champion for Riesenschnauzer (ISPU).  Zar vom Hatzbachtal handled by George Stremme: Arguably the most successful sport Riesenschnauzer of all times,PSK German Champion in 1997 and 1998, ISPU World championship for Riesenschnauzer in 2000 and second place in FCI-World Championahip in 1998. Zar also sired multiple PSK-BLSP and ISPU compeditors the most sucessful was Jasso vom Hatzbachtal. Other legendary hatzbachtal dogs are Iwo, Ben, Leo, Enno, Vina, Zeus and many more. The fact is a Hatzbactal dog has placed every year (1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd) at the PSK german championship since 1995 and dominates at ISPU World championship for Riesenschnauzer.
