Yes, I believe there is life on other planets.........I have always wanted to see a UFO; however, if I did see one, it would scare the ______ out of me and traumatize me for the rest of my life !!!

This sighting is fascinating........................

PDB Crew,

That is a good/ interesting question Yellow Rose.  I know if you are like me, you wonder really what do other people think about these topics, where it has nothing to do with what you believe or don't, you just wonder " what others think".

Gee crew, I really don't know.  I wonder if something is out there.  I would think we would be arrogant to believe we are " all there is".  I would have to think through ancient studies, very credible witness and credible evidence, where " credible regular folks" have stepped out and risked it all, to say they saw something.  There has to be an explanation, one would think, to all the evidence, artifacts, witness.

The only thing that I even ever came close to was seeing the Phoenix lights, when that happened, but I thought they were military flares, we see them all the time here.  Though they did not act like flares normally do.  But that is it, nothing else.

It is my understanding that the Bible address some of this in the book of Genesis, regarding the Nephylum ( not sure on spelling ).

I just don't know, maybe because I don't understand it all.

Kindly

MM:   Genesis  6 chapter

Nephilium:
world became altered.
Impiety increased; fornication multiplied; and they transgressed and corrupted all their ways.
Amazarak taught all the sorcerers, and dividers of roots: Armers taught the solution of sorcery; Barkayal taught the observers of the stars, Akibeel taught signs; Tamiel taught astronomy; And Asaradel taught the motion of the moon,
And men, being destroyed, cried out; and their voice reached to heaven." - Enoch 6-7.
Controversies
Some argue that the Sons of God could not be angels because:

A major theme of the Old Testament is the negative outcome of believers intermarrying with unbelievers.
Angels are spiritual beings, and therefore not reproductively compatible with human women.
Advocates of the Angel-hybrid position hold that:

Angels are recorded on two occasions in Scripture as eating food, therefore they have some ability to interact with the material world.
Angels can at times be indistinguishable from human beings, and "some have entertained angels unawares," (Hebrews 13:2)
The sexual immorality of Sodom and Gommorah is described as "likewise" in comparison to the actions of the angels that "left their proper dwelling" and that Jesus has chained in darkness until Judgment(Jude 6 & 7).
We really don't know what angels can and cannot do, as we lack the ability to capture and study them, and Scripture says little about them.
The question should be decided by the context and evidence rather than a preconceived idea about the nature of angels.
The Augustinian position fails to explain the production of gigantic offspring from the union of believers and unbelievers.
The unanimous position of Jewish and heathen authors prior to Philo of Alexandria is that the angels came down and sired children with women.

Whoa.............. You go YR. Not to start something but for the NAYERS, can you say why? Hard to accept no without an explanation.

A couple tid bits just within my lifetime. The hardest thing for me to take in at times is "history". You know the saying " If you have 13 people standing in a line and you tell person #1 something and they tell the next person down the line etc., etc. that by the time it gets to the last person it's totally something different? Also, look at how easily we/us mix things up on this database and misread, misinterpret etc.? And we are somewhat in the same "family". (dog/GSD lovers).

But anyways.......... I'm prior AF so we have the documented case(s) now of course we don't have all the facts to our great government thinking that they know what is best for us, but the Roswell incident, Hanger 51 and Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. That's just a few. Individuals on there deathbeds or the children on their deathbeds are speaking out. How can anyone think that there is just US?

I absolutely believe in "alien" life.  I also believe that they have visited this planet on numerous occasions, helped to shape ancient cultures, and were worshiped as gods.

I couldn't say for sure whether I believe there are such things as "aliens" or not.  I believe that this world was created by God, and don't believe in the Big Bang theory and evolution.

That said, I don't know that we were the only intelligent, self-aware beings ever created in this universe. Why create a universe full of planets and stars, and put life on only one?

There are many references to "gods" in ancient cultures, and to angels.  Are they real?   I don't know. Could it be possible?  Yes, definitely.  Could these beings have been aliens in the sense that they were not born on this world?  It's possible.  I have experienced some things myself that I cannot explain, not based upon science.  I believe that there is more to life than conception, birth, life, and death.  Something comes before, and something comes after.  Many cultures believe in the concept of the spirit, and that it leaves the body after death.   Life cannot be created by man.  We can clone living cells, but we must start with living cells.  We cannot take dead material and give it life.  So what is life?  What is the meaning of the term?  An age-old question that still has no answer.

This is a subject that is so complicated that it could spark debates lasting centuries.  If there are aliens, what are they?  Are they spirit beings?  Are they angels?  Are they simply residents of other worlds like we are residents of this world?

With the level of technology we have at this time, it is possible to make folks think they've seen just about everything you could think of.  Just think of the things we see on TV.

I'll keep an open mind on it.  There is definitely some indication that there is life from other worlds.  There is also evidence that ghosts exist, among other things.  I don't believe in ghosts, but as I said before, I've had some experiences in my life that are not explainable.

Just curious, you that believe.  What do these aliens look like, and why are they so much more advanced then us?

I did see a crop circle, actually just down the road from me, but no footy prints.
