    Flyhigh Royal's

    Description

Our kennel Flyhigh Royal's is the only one in the Baltics commited only to Phalene breed. The modern version with erect ears is more known. Papillon is also very nice and sometimes they are born from either breed of parents but we want to commit to the original version of the breed - royal and elegant Phalene.

Our kennel is quite young but based on lot of work and dedication. Our goal is to stay a professional hobby kennel where couple of litter a year is the limit. This is to keep the quality and avoid with kennel syndrome. Quality is more important than quantity. The main idea is to give something to the breed not just to produce. At the same time we want to introduce this magnificient breed in Estonia as an excellent companion and sportsdog. Phalene has intelligence, friendliness, working desire and lots of charm!

Karin Roth, founder of the kennel has finished university in the financial field but animals have been very important in her life and therefore studies in veterinary medicine are ongoing at the moment. Another very important person in the kennel is Karin's husband Norman Roth. Breeders have undergone a variety of different dog training seminars including Base Course of Dog Trainer, they have actively engaged in agility and obedience. Karin is also the owner of cattery Macrory and has bred high quality Scottish Folds for many years. A friendly breed of cat who gets along with dogs and vice versa. Karin and Norman are both the founding and board members of Estonian Cat Association ESTICAT and lead the way as President and Vice President for the time being. They organize international TICA cat shows both in Finland and Estonia. They are also actively working as ring clerks on Estonian dog shows.

The decision to register a kennel was made years before taking the first dog. She came from one the oldest kennels in Sweden - Molargardens. The breed was chosen by its personality, not because of the looks. A smaller dog was searched who could be taken along to work. Most important was trainability and speed because sport career was in mind. Bonuses were lack of undercoat and suitability with other animals. Because of breed origin as a companion dog the disadvantages like tracking smells, digging holes are not a problem. They are good with people, are good at working and the nicest are the evenings spent on the couch with family in front of the fireplace.

Octavia is a agility line dog and so we have raised her as well. Her dam traines in Swedish team and her sire is also active in agility competitions. Out other dog was selected a few years later because taking multiple dogs at once is not a good idea - all our energy went to thorough training of Octavia. Alexie came to Estonia from Norway's kennel Freetain's - a world famous kennel. We are very thankful to both of the breeders. Alexie has been the dam of two magnificient litters, all of which continue in breeding in Norway. She is a show-line bitch with smaller type who will have our first litter with.

We hope to bring sunshine to many families with our future babies. Thanks to our positive experience with the breed we want to share it with all of you!
