about everything about positioning is wrong, agree, shouldnot pay for that, as for the hips itself, it doesnot look bad, think when positioning is good it will look ok, right a little better than left

I agree with Duke.  I rotated the hips and drew a few landmarks (not to scale).  If you were to tilt the pelvis flat, the horizontal blue lines will soon be equal in length.  The heads of the femur will also become neutral in size.   Moving the pelvis flat will also force the the left femoral head to move deeper in the socket, while the right hip will move slightly out.  Straightening the right femur should compensate for that movement.  Unless a better a quality xray shows otherwise, the hips appear to be fine.

Hips look very good, but the positioning is horrible ,ask your vet. do it again.

Thanks everyone! I will definitely have them redone! I have big plans for this guy, and wanted to know what you all thought of his hips. I appreciate everyone’s input!

Despite the dog being tilted rather severely, they are diagnostic and the hips are fine.
