I'm out of line when YOU are the member here using 2 different screen names?

by old shatterhand on 18 February 2015 - 02:02

Blitzen don't change subject, stick to the dogs,i am using not two but four screen names if you really want to know. You have your opinion and i have mine, and this is good and very healthy for the threat,if is not to you than to bad deal with that. This bitch i like not because of the pictures, but i seen this bitch last year in Germany personally that's why i really like her,and if you don't agree with me than is your problem not mine. You have lots of support here from people who really don't know much about German Shepherds, but like i said everybody is intitle to own opinion, and i respect that and i don't go after those people, like you do going after everyone who has difference opinion than you.Have another coctail and relax.

And what exactly was it that I said about this dog that has you so upset Waleed/Shatterhand/whatever?

As far as how many accounts you have here, admin will know.

There was a lengthy discussion on one of my posts http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/forum.read?mnr=787611-steep-crouptop-line-from-top-breeders--is-this-normal

Thus when i saw that this bitch was sold to the US i asked myself the question.

1.) If i owned a bitch that achieved a sg 16 at BSZS 13 why would i want to sell her?

Either i was offered a stupid amount of money or her progeny is not of good quality. I guess each to his/her own

the purchase of top dogs is common before a USA Siegershow.  Who is the new owner?  The owners have a tendency of coming and going as was the case with 2 x VA1 Yasko and his to be bride VA 1 Kora (who I personally placed into a forever home in the nick of time and was loved to her last breath).  The great Yasko was torn from his safe place to be sold to Korea.  Hopefully this young female has a good outcome.

@ sunshine... The same thing seems to be happening here in south africa which means a locally bred dog stands no chance....

More importanly to me is that breeders should not just sell Good quality showline dogs to any dick tom and sue ( i am in know way refering to karmen being sold ).

Waleed ( not Old Shatterhand ) said:    1.) If i owned a bitch that achieved a sg 16 at BSZS 13 why would i want to sell her?

There are different scenarios ( this is theory only, not connected to the dog in question)

  • The owner for sure got a lot of money for this dog ( okay, now I´m refering to the dog in question - the former owner is from Eastern Europe - he/she will never ever be able to make that much money with regular work in his/her whole life- that´s an honest reason to sell a dog )
  • The dog might not be able to title and / or breed survey because of temperament problems
  • There might be problems about sire/dam ( DNA, titles, whatever )
  • There might have been an arrangement ( good placement/sale of the dog )

I really think it´s not fair to show a horrendous picture of a dog, in case there are several better pictures out there ( I´m not talking about the quality of this dog, I´m just talking about the quality of the chosen picture ).

Only for the record: The dog in question was not shown in 2014, there might be a reason why.

Hell she looks nice enough to own to me;  I'd take her sight unseen.  JMHO.  You can look thru a bad pic and be able to see what  you want to see if you know what to look for.  She has some lovely qualities;  does she produce??  Who knows, bred to the right male, possibly...Is she worthy of breeding?  Probably as long as health clearances are in place.  Her background is good as far as I know.  Good luck with her to whoever was the lucky sole that got her.  Nan
