I purchased a puppy from Mr Fanino back about 9 months ago. I did receive a puppy but not the puppy I picked out. He has not sent me any FCI paperwork and will not answer his phone etc. If anyone has any info on how to contact this scammer please let me know. I have a beautiful dog but no papers. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, so many times it's almost laughable that people still buy from this place. I just did a search and posts go back to 2009?, with the worst 2018-2019.

I try not to comment on platforms like these, but I do need to point out a couple of things.
Entwerfer Haus, you stated "it's almost laughable that people still buy from this place".
Not really, and I am not trying to belittle your comment.
There are a lot of dog enthusiast joining PDB. Most of them are newbie.
They do not know who is Legit and who is a Scammer on this DB.
But I can tell you who does know, ADMIN.
You said it yourself, that you ran a search and saw that Fanino have been scamming buyers since 2009, yet ADMIN allows him to post, 11 years after the fact. And Fanino is not the only one, Arthur Pierchalla is another Scammer, but yet again he is allowed to "peddle' his dogs and puppies on PDB.
ADMIN, you guys really need to step up. We need to encourage people into the fancy not discourage them.

PfalzSteegen, When one wants to buy a dog, one does a TON of homework to find a particular dog, in ones own country hopefully where the same laws apply, in general.
One does NOT look for base bargain prices, getting dog out of suspicious countries, paying a couple of hundred dollars for what is supposed to be a really good dog.
When one wants to buy a dog, one's brain does not stop from working, one's eyes do not become blind, but, a lot of people see those $ they will make by selling puppies and ignore all other warnings.
Its up to the buyer to do ALL the work, to make sure they are dealing with a breeder who has been around a long time, one with a reputation that they cannot afford to lose, etc.
Why does one send money blindly to a person you have never met? Why does one believe that the breeder has THE best dog/puppy for sale for $497?
I cannot speak for the Admins, but, I dont think they can police every ad that is posted and again, I firmly believe that the buyer bears all responsibility in doing the work BEFORE they send money anywhere.

PfalzSteegen, do not put this on the Admins. The OP has over 20 dogs posted on this site spanning nearly 4 years. I'm pretty sure they have the know how to do a search.

You can't 'belittle' my comment, I stand behind it.

PflazSteegen, Admin do not know if a member is a scammer or not. Some are easy to catch others we rely on members informing us. This member Fanino has come up several times but very little proof is ever given about scam claims. I contacted him several weeks ago about another claim but received no reply, I was giving him time to respond to me. As of to day this member is now banned. You mentioned another name as being a scammer, without a user name and proof my hands are tied. Be assured I hate scammers as do all the Admin here and we will not hesitate to take action if we have the proof.

Thank you Hired Dog and Entwerfer Haus for your comments about Admin
