Mom is THRIVING ! and so are these radical little grizzly/gaters ! They will be one month old Dec 30th. Im shocked how active they are for there age, I wish I could load a video to show how they are biting and latching on to whatever they can get in there little mouths ! Im extremely happy with what Im seeing :)

Thanks Mr Darcy ! they are MUCH more lively little aggressive boogers than they look in those pics, I got them out when they had just woke up so they would stay still so I could take a picture. Im going to try to start transitioning to dry food today, with a gruel puppy mix.

They look very robust & healthy! Glad to hear mom is doing well too!

Good that all are doing well.

Is Mom kicking them off her? Those sharp little milk teeth hurt!

Is your puppy-proofing still adequate? Don't feel too bad if something gets destroyed. It's really easy to overlook something, especially the first time around. It's important to recheck everything every day, too.

Puppy proofing is easy peasy because I have a 5x10 kennel set up inside my heated garage, they cant hurt themselves or anything else while in there, but yes mom has about had it with there little teeth, she still lets them nurse some but gets up and moves away a LOT... so Ive started taking her out of there and letting the pups stay, Im trying to wait about 4 - 5 hours away from mom so they will actually be hungry and want to eat the puppy gruel Ive started them on the last few days... they nibble on it a little but there definitely not digging in yet..., I just don't think they have been hungry when Ive tried it so Im trying to separate them long enough and hope they will be hungry and to want this gruel mix Im doing for them... they DEFINITELY have the jaw strength to chew thats for sure... its hard to imagine these little boogers could hurt when they bite but they definitely do with there needle teeth... when I go in there they all latch on to my pant leg and play tug with it.. at 4 1/2 weeks old !.... Im probably going to remove the indoor/outdoor carpet from under the kennel on Sunday so they can start learning to stabilize themselves on a slick surface, they will be 5 weeks on Tuesday... also I am going to let them outside in the snow for short periods next week just to expose them to the outside, but its really cold here so I will only do it for about 5-10 minutes while Im with them, then take them back in... its fun watching them grow !!!
