Unfortunately when starting as a breeder, we all make mistakes.

When buying your Yorkshire Terrier, do your homework, don't buy the first Yorkie you see.

The best advice I can five you is to contact the Kennel Union and they will recommend an accredited Yorkshire Terrier breeder.

Go to dog shows and see the exhibits and meet the exhibitors, they will give the best advice on breeders.

Ethical Breeder:

Will only sell a dog at 10 weeks minimum.  Rather be patient and wiat for your puppy.

Will supply you with food and what ever puppy package of their choice.

Will allow you to view parents and if possible grand parents.

Will not tell you stories to secure the purchase, the dog should sell it's self.

Beware of pocket size dogs, miniture and assorted colours, read your breed standard, there are no such thing as a minature Yorkshire Terriers, and definately not a chocolate Yorkshire Terreier, these dogs are all through backs caused by inbreeding.   These are all gimics for puppy farmers.

And another important fact, breeding Yorkshire Terriers is not a profitable business, look at the costs before you look at the profits and you will discover you will make more losses the profits.

I hope this  has helped you in you quest for your Yorkshire Terrier puppy.
