Does the dog have to be registered with AKC?
Does the owner have to be a member of GSDCA? Of WDA?
Can a title achieved be transferred to the dog's USCA score book?

WOW! Wondeful! For those of you who don't know her, Jackie can really cook! Worth coming out just for her sides and desserts.
I think all you need to enter a WDA trial is a WDA scorebook. $10. for WDA members, $15. for non-members. I think you have to be a WDA member ($50.) if you reside in the US, but don't quote me on that. I need to look all that up again before long. I get confused between the two organizations... Come to think of it, I need to go over the SchH 1 protection routine rules too. Its been ages since I did a 1... don't be surprised if I try to borrow the routine from the 3. LOL Old habits die HARD at my age!
Bosen Kinder is one of the best club names ever.
Glad you like it. I pulled for "Misfits and Outlaws" (very appropriate, I thought :) but got voted down at the first organizing meeting. I'm told by my German friends I didn't do so well with my "new" kennel name... something about gay connnotations. ha ha ha.
Too late now.

My first Schutzhund trial was under Vic. And yes great for the novice and I was a nervous wreck! Now I can't play the newbie card so much anymore! LOL

I just got a dog in that knows almost nothing at age 2. He will be entered.
Now I can't play the newbie card so much anymore
Of COURSE you can! I played that card for about 10 years! I am approaching my 20-somethingth "first" BH. LOL
I can't believe how much WORK I have to do before trial weekend around here, starting with stripping, sanding and painting the scaling wall and hurdle, building a dumb bell stand... That wall weighs a ton. Not sure how I am going to get it up the hill to the garage for belt-sanding and painting. We don't even HAVE 6 matching blinds, so I had to borrow them. Ha ha ha. I am the only one in the club who has ever put on a trial, and I own the field, so I guess we know whose responsible for it going off well. The good news is that my old club, which only had 5-6 members, hosting a lot of club trials and a couple of regionals, so the Things To Do list is permanently tattooed in my head, and Scott has been in and attended quite a few events, recently, so he can be a huge help.
Still, I am going to have to recruit experienced help to make sure all goes smoothly because I can only be in so many places at once. (Hello Molly? Meghan? Randy?) John Kennedy has graciously offered to donate trophies. Certificates with pix of dog/handler teams and the Judge will be awarded to participants completing the seminar and Junior Handlers.
I will be donating a special perpetual trophy for Good Sportsmanship (the Onyx Award....) We will also have a special "trophy" on hand for poor sportsmanship, should the occasion arise... ala the ones we had at Feather River SC in the old days. We only had to award that last one one time ever, but anyone who was present will never forget it, especially the recipient, who was seen abusing his dog on the way back to his car after their (poor) performance. The award involved a lovely Gucci bag, filled with contents pilfered from the floor of Phyllis Dobbs' poultry barn... LMAO.
Nobdoy will ever accuse Bosen Kinder of not having a sense of humor.
