VK, according to the breed standard overly shy or nervousness is a disqualifying trait.
The Judge would have to be able to put his hand on the dogs head and run them along the body of the dog without any shy reaction, I am sure a judge would not get within a meter before she would bolt.

The pup may never be the perfect specimen you were aiming for, but if you are the right kind of owner, issues being presented can be improved and/or managed if not eliminated, and you will still have a pet who adores you.
Share a puppy picture, I would love to see one. I bet the pup is cute!

If you decide to keep the dog, you may want to consider teaching her to stand and tolerate being examined on command. Or vet future visits will be very challenging and stressful.
I have a male GSD, who is not fearful but unsocial, and he is trained to tolerate being handled on command (teeth, testicles, ears, etc.). I am grateful every time we take him to the vet that my husband spent the time doing the training.

The OP entered one dog / puppy on PDB - in case this is the puppy we are talking about it's a pretty cute one, and it's either a plush or a longcoat.
In case of "working ability" ( always in case it really is the dog in question) , this pup is out of generations of show line dogs "only", no proof of working abilities.
Even out of generations of titled parents not all puppies will be "stable" , willing and able to work.
Buying "online" out of untested dogs should be a no-go for everybody who wants to train, title and show.
Sorry in case I looked at the wrong dog - otherwise you learned a hard lesson.
1. A BBS is no GSD, the temperament is different
2. Socialisation is very important
3. You can't await IPO stock out of untested bloodlines
4. There is always a reason when a serious breeder is willing to sell a puppy he held for himself
I really hope you and the pup will become a good team - after all it's impossible to buy a 4 months old world champion ( it's not only about temperament, it's about health, teeth, size, conformation, and on and on ).

If this is the pup, she looks longhaired to me and much better pigment than we usually see in UK.

Just checking you were awake, Sue.
Seriously though, you must have an awareness of who the breeder in question might be ? DO you have any comment on the OP's problem ?
