Kennedy's Isabella-----Can anybody tell me what line or mix of lines she would be? She is my first American Bulldog

Well, for the most part what I can tell from her pedigree, her top half is 75/25 Scott.  The Joshua dogs on the top half of her sire's side are strong foundation dogs with great working ability.  They have a bit of a reputaion of being a little aggressive but workaholics.  The bottom of the sire's line is 50/50 Hines and Johnson dogs.  Again Hines are strong working lines and Johnson gives them some bulliness and size.  On the dame's side she is 50/50 as well.  Since she is line bred with the same dogs as the sire's bottom half.  So in short Isabella is 5/8 Scott - 3/8 Johnson.  A nice combo of working ability with some Johnson size mixed in for good measure.  Hope I was helpful.

Thanks. That's a big help. She doesn't have the size though. She only weighs about sixty pounds and not bully at all. She does have a ton of drive.

The size I am refering to is from a pedigree standpoint.  She may not have benefited from it but her pedigree has a fair amount of bulk in it.  I personally do not care for the extra bulk, I like a big dog but not mastiffy.  To me a 60lb dog that wants to run all day is what an American Bulldog is supposed to be.  My dogs tend to come in around 75-90lbs but my females are more like 70-80lbs.  Which is what I breed for. Sounds like you got nice high energy girl without the health concerns of a over-built bully.

I understand. Both of her parents were pretty close to 200be pounds each. I also prefer a 60 to about 80 pound athletically built dog. She has tons of energy and can rum around from sun up to sun down. It seems like she never gets tired.
