If my Malinois, not registered, from French working (pedigree though), was bred to a Dutch Shepherd (that dog was created by a breed between a Holland import Malinois and a Mexico import Dutch no papers or pedigrees); will the puppies be Dutch Shepherds? The Holland Import grandmother (to the soon to be puppies) Mal has won hardest hitting female in competition. The Mexico grandfather (to the soon to be puppies) import Dutch is a retired PPcompetition dog. From the mothers side, the french working lines I mentioned is the 86 French Ring Sport Nat'l Champ. The pregnant female Mal that I have, she has a brother doing Schutzhund, and another brother doing drug detection. And then if they are Dutch puppies (when they come), do I advertise the puppies in Dutch Shepherds? or can I advertise them in Malinois? Are they worth anything? (I have bred, raised, trained, and sold a GSD for police patrol work so I know how to imprint.)

In Holland they call em like they see em. If it has stripes then its a Dutchie and if it is Mali coloered then its a Mali. Or some list it as a Dutch-x or as a Mal-x. As far as advertising them I think either place is fine. They are worth whatever you can get for them on a given day. There are people that charge as much or more for the cross as they would for reg Malis or Dutch. Its about getting the best dog for some....not about getting the best paperwork.

Thank you.  i'll just wait till what color they come out.  I've been told I know what I'm doing in the way of socialization and imprinting.  It's not the money but the ego of me being able to produce real dogs.  Thank you again.

Ego is a terrible reason to breed any dog much less a working dog. Your attitude and personality will show in the pups you produce.
