I have entered the show and paid for my flight, motel, and rental car. Non of these expenditures are refundable.

What do you expect me to do other than join the SV? Join USA or the GSDCA?

Will my entry be rejected in the 2011 USA Sieger Show if I have proof that I am a full member of the SV (a WUSV recognized GSD breed club)? Please provide me with written evidence. If I have no other choice, I will pay $66 to join the GSDCA.--without the damned magazine. I would as soon flush my money down the toilet or join the KKK than to pay for another membership in USA. It is my money to spend as I see fit.

The rules are pretty clear on the website Louise.

If you have any questions perhaps the person to call would be the USA office?

Is there a link to the rules on the site or a rule link for conformation and/or national events lisited. I tried navigating but my browser got tired...or my brain. I would just like to read official clarificatiion on this and not rely on someomes opinion or perception on the rules.

I dont feel somone asking for clarification is bitching.....even if it is a legitimate bitch IMO. I am sure many will NOT attend because of the stupid regulation the mcukies have imposed ... but, perhap good way to keep real competition away.

In one area it states belong to a WUSV organization and now in another it states that is only for non USA res.

I would call the office and I would also demand written clarification of the official policy to be sure. I be damn having folks show up and deny them or not have the showings count.

What a giant crock... not very welcoming IMO.

What I suggest for you, Louise, is that you simply NOT go. If you had all these issues, why even purchase tickets, etc. in the first place? It is incomprehensible to me that you would outlay so much money, THEN go back and try to find out the answers to your bitching. But, different strokes for different folks. No refund should be forthcoming at all.

Wish I could do this. Frankly, having lived on many parts of the planet, I have always felt like a "citizen of the world".

How can I be sure that the left hand knows what the right is doing at the USA Office? At one time, they had no record of a title of one of my dogs achueved at a USA trial. Finally, found it when I gave them the date from the scorebook. Thanks to Kelly Hope, this omission was forwarded to the SV so that the title was reflected in the pedigrees of the decendants of my dog.
