From the Sieger Show website: Current USA Membership is required for entry into the USA Sieger Show if residing within the United States. If you are a non-member, proof of a valid WUSV membership will be accepted, a $35.00 non-member fee will apply.

My grandmother always told me that a hard head makes for a soft ass. That applies to those who choose to only "hear" what they wish to hear and ignore what does not accommodate their mindset.

If the rules aren't clear  it might  be better to contact he officials directly for written clarification rather then requesting it on a board that is not  part of  the organization?

Good--I can have my attorney contact the officials directly.

Is membership in the GSDCA acceptable?

Sieger Show website--Exhibitor Information page: "Information for Exhibitors Important Current USA Membership is required for entry into the USA Sieger Show if residing within the United States. If you are a non-member, proof of a valid WUSV membership will be accepted, a $35.00 non-member fee will apply. USA Registration All Geman Shepherd Dogs shown at the USA Sieger Show who are 12 months and older at the time of entry/ showing, and whose owners reside within the United States MUST be individually registered with the USA Breed Registry Office Click here for USCA/SV Registration USCA-only Registration "

Personally, I would not rely on that typo to enter my Geman  [sic] Shepherd Dog in the show. Similarly, I would not take that to mean that my bitch, who was USCA/SV registered as part of a litter, must now be individually registered for the Sieger Show, on top of her prior registration. That's just me. But, as Sly Stone said, "different strokes for different folks."

Can someone tell me WHY all the editing buttons are gone, so italics, bold, etc are not available. I cannot even write posts with clearly separated paragraphs, not matter how many "returnns" I put in. Suggestions?

------------------
It appears you may be using the "simple form", perhaps on an iphone?  The editing, italics, bold, etc. options are available on the advanced form.

Nope--was on a computer.  But, apparently, posted directly at the end of the thread.  I clicked "post reply' and that makes it all better.  Now, it works directly at the bottom, too.  Technology--ya gotta love it.

Looks ok to me.

Trying this as a test.

Seems all right.  Maybe reboot?

Apologies for the hijack; don't want to derail the thread.

Modulus Rex modeator comment: I deleted this post earlier today without realizing that handler ads were permitted on this thread, so it is being re-posted:

Oh YES...I would just request the official regulations of a national show event and have it clarified in writing and also have whoever is that chair in charge review with you or anyone else who has those ?s  as the site and information were not clear, nor was it in the answer given when asked prior.

BTW Louise ( and who knows who else)  did ASK for clarification PRIOR to making reservations and entry and was told that membership in one of the other recognized WUSV clubs would be acceptable along with the surcharge of 35 dollars. of course.

As a side not for the event I believe you must also have your dog USCA as  registrant?  they are not a FCI recognized breed club AKC is but that's another can of worms. But if anyone who even is a USCA member only has the AKC reg I dont think that is acceptable?

And you can NOT join the USCA if you are a member of any of those competing organizations as stated on the membership form so who would want to incriminate yourselves by doing so (becoming a menber)... not that anyone should be put in that predicament to begin with.

I agree this is not a forum to find clarification...but it is supposed to be one to share the information.

Texas is a great place for a venue so I am sure this organization could do very well for themselves  in having a nice event to bring more people to the fancy and sport...even if they are non members.
