We are buying a female pup from Titled parents but the lines are mostly showline,  However these dogs exhibit great nerves and I know the lines well...  and like the dogs alot,  so with high hopes for the pup I have told the breeder I trust her judgement explicitly she knows what I want, expect, desire, and has promised she will do her best,  I can't ask for more than that.

My next dog will be American Working Lines.  Ideally he will be loyal, and affectionate.  Of good structure.  I am looking for alternate bloodlines so pedigree is not as important as workability and trainability.  Like to travel to and compete in trials.  Good work ethic, happy in obedience, good at tracking (numbers$), powerful in protection and other areas (wink)!  Good in the house as well in the kennel.  Easily trained is a plus!  I don't mind a little of a soft temperament either!

I love my czech dogs.  I think I will stick with what I got lucky with in my Agar.  Can one ever get lucky twice??  If it's a dog for myself of my husband then definately a working line.  But my 10 yr old daughter has shown an interest in the dogs but she doesn't want to do the protection part; at this stage she seems afraid so I have thought about maybe a showline for her to do more confirmation, obedience, maybe a little tracking.  She seems interested in watching agility when it's on tv. and don't hang me guys but I wouldn't mind a good looking showline in my back yard; even the working line folks gotta admitt they ARE beautiful.

Hmmm, good question...I had to think about this one. I think I'll stick with my workingline bitches, my goodness am I in love with the Czech/DDR bitch I have, but I'm **CONSIDERING** some West German Workingline. I don't know my WG like I know my Czech and DDR, so I'll have to study, a LOT, but again, good question, has me thinking about what step I want to take next...Thanks for the inital post!

Brittany, girl, you've been busy, comeing up with all of these dang good posts, lots of good topics, that don't include flaming, name-calling, bashing, put-downs AND it is nice to see other people's creative juices flowing! KEEP IT UP!
