Dawn, you are taking what was said out of context. All that stuff you say about Eros is great. But that doesn't mean he's perfect for KIRA. That's what MVF and I said. You are taking our words as a personal insult and it isn't that at all!

For example- I have 7 dogs. I ***might*** possibly breed ONE of mine to the other one, but one was PURCHASED AS AN ADULT W/THIS IN MIND....and still I'm not sure. You usually have to look far and wide and be very honest  about what you need to complement your other dog when looking for a match for him/her. I wouldn't breed my DDR female I got as a pup to my adult male.  Nothing wrong w/either of them; but together, they'd be good, but probably not phenomenal, as some of his more difficult traits, she has also. Plus, my male is a tad oversized (and Eros is oversized as well; keep that in mind) and my female's sire is very large, so there's a good chance of pups being over standard.  I go for phenomenal. Anything less is pointless and the reason we have so many homeless dogs.

Again, great that he's a nice and pretty dog (which he is, and Pluto as well- no one ever said Pluto wasn't pretty...it's the other side I question, but if you want a moderate/mild pet, that's probably not a bad thing at all) and you might want to use him for stud to outside females and he might produce awesome dogs. But the chances of you just-so-happening-to-own his TRUE, IDEAL match are few and far between. That's all....don't take it to mean something it doesn't. You could post ten pages on how great Eros is and it wouldn't change a thing; it's not about the individual dogs at all; it's the combination.

Know what I mean?
