KirbysMom - you have posted that your dog is 20 years old and has been a great dog - I am glad - but we are very interested in this dog.... Can you not provide the pedigree so we might take a look at it? - or is your dog not really 20 years old and that is why you haven't bothered to come back to your thread and post it?

Please give us the courtesy of looking at it....

Schaferhunden - could you please post the pedigree of your 24 years old as well......

Did anyone see any grey in the muzzle on the 24 year old? I sure wouldlike to know the pedigress and how they were fed, shots, etc! WOW!

I'm with Yoggie on this. For some reason I can't make myself believe it's really that old. Why would someome come and post something so random and not post again also.

sorry but i cant believe that the dog in the video is 24.there does not appear to be any greying at all and it seems very agile in its movement for a 24 year old animals.most of my gsds have lived into double figures but they have all had greying and stiffness to some degree.my oldest now is 11 years,a male ,who lives with a friend who is reasonably mobile.i have a half sister aged nearly 10.she has a small degree of grey starting to encroach on her muzzle and she is starting to move stiffly in the damp weather.people who have asked her age are surprised when i say 10.please if this dog IS 24,supplie us with your regime as we all might learn something new .Carole S.

I clearly see the graying on the muzzle. When the dog looks up, just pause the video, and you will see.

Certainly looks younger than 25, but hey! maybe he's just like me good genes, lol.

I am sceptical - I would have to see proof that either dog is 20+ before believing it - the dog in the video appears elderly - like 10 or 12 years old - looks good and spry for an elderly GSD - but 24? don't believe it.
