Budget cuts - Page 2

Great pic alboe2009! SitasMom, we tend to be right wing nut jobs as well, lol but politics wear me out sometimes. I had hoped that Obama would be much better for our country than he has been because even though I did not vote for him, it was a historic moment in our country. In our family we love GWB and John McCain is who my 22 y/o daughter would choose to meet if she could pick anyone. She can discuss politics all day but I am just so sick of the games.

Personally I respect John McCain, but her is a RINO. He says anything he thinks people want to hear to get elected and then is one of the quickest to compromise.....

He talked extra tough about illegal immigration during his last run for office and now he's talking amnesty! Unfortunately this is just status quo for him.

I pinched my nose and voted for him, because I just knew what Obama would try to do..... and he is......

I understand what you're saying about John McCain and most conservatives respect him but do not appreciate his politics. My daughter and I have watched several documentaries about his life and service and all of his personal ups and downs, that's where our respect and admirations comes from, not politics, lol. For me, I'm frustrated with politics, my daughter is hopeful and much more optimistic about politics, ha!

Since when is letting a tax cut to the rich lapse defined as raising taxes?  I say as many of you do, if the idiots (both parties) can't get the budget balanced and there is a government shut down and government workers, military not getting paid, shouldn't that include the very government idiots that couldn't agree on the budget?
