HI all,
In the next days I will be moving the web to a new physical location. That means changes to the DNS and more. And it means a certain period where both machines will be answering at the same time (it's simply how DNS works that does this), so I will take the server down for a few hours and bring the old server back up in read only mode (i.e. I will disable logins),
The new server will be login-enabled, so from anywhere of a few hours to a whole day, you will be unable to log in to the website while the DNS transfer finishses. This is simply to assure data consistency and still have the service accessible.
Regards
Oli

By the time that you make those updates it would be better if you make some changes like seperating the marketplace in "show dogs" and "working dogs". This would be very usefull for all of us.
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure "american line" dog fanciers would want a section for them too. (wouldn't fit working dogs) show dogs maybe.
Couldn't resist :D

Shepland,
There are many people who don't know if they have working or show lines. And what about the crosses? I think that this would just be a mess and a frustration for most.

Thanks for everything Oli. This site is a great resource - only marred by the nasty childish people who use this board for personal vendettas. Hope you can do something to limit access to those people who are ruining everyone's enjoyment of the board when the new server goes up.

Thanks Oli. I will try to find something to alleviate board-withdrawal symptoms till all your fine work is complete. Might be a god opp to take the laptop in and have all the dog hair cleaned out of its inards before it over-heats to the "no-return" point.

No problem Oli... might as well search the database or simply read some previous messages and build-up an interesting topic for the NEXT ENCOUNTERS... here in "The MESSAGEBOARD"
You're doing great Oli
Regards...
