" Don't buy a dog over the net, go to Germany if you must have a import". Some people have that option some don't. Yes I have gone to Germany and looked at dogs but it was in combination with buisness I was doing in the middle east. I have never just gone there to buy a dog, it would add way too much to the price of the dog. The net is how alot of us do buisnesss, we see what is available in what country and buy them. I have bought alot of dogs sight on seen and knock on wood have never been ripped off. There are alot of honest breeders in Europe. The key is do your home work and remeber if the deal seems to good to be true, it probably is. If you are just looking for a pet, buy at home. If you are looking for something specific abroad, ask around before you part with your hard earned money, chances are someone on this board has done buisness with the particular kennel you are looking to buy from. Use your resources.

I was also screwed by a GSD breeder from DENMARK 2 years ago. Breeders name is Peter Jensen Agerkilde or Jen-ager's Kennel. I was told female dog im buying is okay with out deffects i was sent a good photo that i think was a photo of a different female of the same age. i was ask to send money to their bank account. i sent money but i got a hunch later that i was being screwed so i ask for more photos and a video of the female gsd im buying. then breeder in Denmark ask for more money and tell that if i dont send they will just put my dog to sleep cause they can not send it, cause his also sick that time and can not take care of the dog. I have to other choice but to send more money, if i dont i will end up with no dog and no money. I just hope that the dog that will arrive is okay. Well they send me a GSD alright with one ear not standing and is always afraid and hates women. I got a very expensive imported pet quality GSD. Lesson learned for me not to be to trusting in importing GSDs.
