Hello,

I am curious on how much it costs to get your Schutzhund I test done here in the USA and Germany.  How much is it to get the BH certificate? Is it better to get a show rating on a 7 month old pup?

Thanks

most BH test cost around 40 bucks  and you can not get a show rating at 7 months . dogs must be 12 months to receive a show rating   prior to that it's an evaluation of either promising or very promising

cost of schutzhund sport over all   ..exspensive but fun :))

BH is yes around $40 and you cannot get an official show rating until after 12 months.

Show entries for local shows run around $50 for adult classes.  Some maybe less.

Dog cannot be shown for a BH until 15 months.

And yes schutzhund is expensive.  Which is where clubs come in handy!

Schutzhund is very expensive...so far it's cost me...3 vans...2 trucks...3 houses...and a bunch of dog food...at 70 of dry dog food a week...and then there's the training too...

Bob,

Schutzhund cost you all of that?  That is crazy.  You either don't have the right dog and you are too stubborn to realize it or you don't have the right training and you can't see it. :)

We got to at least get your house back.  LMAO

Kaiser,

1 house has been taken over by the dogs...the other one by the wife...so must find myself a place to stay too...

Just kidding...I now have a 4000 sq. ft. log cabin on 18 acres....and a beautiful matching barn that I'm converting into

my new kennel...Just trying to get "spray in" foam insulation put in the barn for the winter...and then will have new

runs put up...I am also becoming a distributor for fence paneling that makes great kennels/runs...5 gauge wire that also

comes in galvanized or powder coated...and each cross is welded...
