How much prior to breeding can and should a brucellosis be done?

Within the year your dog should have been tested for brucellosis,

and also make sure your female is free of parasites.

Brucellosis needs to be done while the bitch is in heat..

You may need to look around on the site, it didn't put all my link in.

And it said just prior to coming into heat, seems like the 
stud dog should test more frequently than the females
cause, some people only have one girl they own, where 
as the stud muffin gets around.
