Have an apology to make here, as I have been informed from somene that was at this show, that the entry number that I quoted in my Our Dogs breed notes was incorrect.  Apparently there were over 60 entries - I was told by two people that there was 35, and was appalled that this should be at a Champ show.  So - great news, although not a really large entry, much better than I had been told, and published - and looking at the results above, a very good quality entry too - well done to all, and special wishes for Qualli`s 3rd ticket.    Mo Lakin - Mascani

Well phone`s been going tonight after this message as above - apparently, I am to be corrected again, there were 16 bitches and 19 dogs present is what has been confirmed on other sites !!  total 35 dogs presented... although 60+ entered -  excellent dogs won, and good luck to them, it only means we still have to keep vigilant about our entries, and all have to pull together to keep the show scene going in the UK at present.

There where in fact 22 dogs and 24 bitches making a total of 46 present out of an entry of 62. I was present at the show and as always my catalogue was marked up by Doreen Scott who always marks off all dogs present. There where some good quality animals for  Mr. K O Ojala (Norway) the judge to go over. This is the first time he has judged in the uk and contrary to what has been implied on this site by some others he did not know the faces(handlers) or the dogs. This man judged the dogs honestly and in my opinion was a good judge whom I would enter under again should he be judging in the uk.

Just to add the Dog CC was given to a dog that is not that well known but is an absolutley beautiful dog, who i have watched since his puppy classes and seen him develop into a wonderful young adult that fully deserved his CC.

The quality of bitches were superb and it would have been a hard job for any judge to choose which to give the CC. Qualli is and was shown in top condition on the day and i believe went on to take Best in Show, so it kind of makes the comments from Pencil worthless.
