It is difficult to see (the fit) with much clarity but there appears to be sufficient pelvic bone and the positioning is excellent. Give the veternarian a "high five" from me. Without being able to see minute detail, I would say you have a O.F.A. "Good" or S.V. "a" Normal here. The minute detail will determine what they really are. Best Regards, Bob-O

lol, the vet tech would be me. :) So thank you! If I think about it and get my brain together I will take the photo on the viewer at work. But, that means remembering to bring the films and camera into work. We tried to do it without sedation, but it was not worth the struggle. This was done under full dose torb/half dose domitor. She was "a" normal at one year of age. And these films look very similiar. I was thinking too, that she had a chance of going OFA excellent. But, we'll see what they say. :)

I hate to chime in but as a mother of 3 with bad hips. Do you see how the right bone between the knee and the hip bows? To me it makes me think the vet "made borderline" hips look good. Can be done, if you truly love the breed I would have a second opinion..I'm just really sensitive to the subject nursing along my 12 year old best friend till he is too tired to fight anymore and deciding on hip replacement on my 3 year old. The 1-1/2 year old replacement dog the breeder gave me hasn't been x-rayed yet but I am suspect of his hips as well...Good luck I hope I am wrong...I just hate to see how much pain a dysplasic dog goes through...
