about x-ray in heat - Page 1

hello,

 i'm a newbie her also, but from what i gather the heat cycles, affect laxity in the hips. so if your going to x-ray for ''a'' stamp or ofa, that laxity could cause a reading problem. but i would like to hear if x-ray affect heat cycles?

hope i'm right on that , maybe some of the ''oldtimers'' will chime in here and help out.

I've never read any data on the effect of hip xrays on a bitch's heat cycles. The OFA recommends not xraying for 3 to 4 weeks before or 3 to 4 weeks after a heat period.
