I recently bought a dog training dvd online from the USA which cost just over $60 for a double disc.
Today I received a letter from Parcel Force telling me I had to pay an additional £14.70 in VAT and a Parcelforce clearance fee of £13:50 making a total of £27:67 in extra charges.
So a DVD at $60 dollars has now cost an extra £27:67 stirling in VAT and handling charges. I have bought many dvds from amazon without these charges so any UK buyers planing such purchases beware.
