I just browsed the Sternbusch website and it looks like they've been doing the show/working cross for sometime. Kudo's to them for coming up with a nice solid looking German Shepherd that is very attractive to boot!

I've always been soooo tempted to try my male with a showline bitch but was always afraid of what I may end up with.

Now THAT is a cross done right. I think much of the problem is the people with the really excellent quality show or work line dogs do not want to cross them, and it's the substandard dogs that get crossed, and the resulting dogs do not live up to either side of their parentage. You breed quality to quality and look what happens. What a great dog. Who owns him?
