GSD Breeders in the UK pre 1940 - Page 1

Just wondered if anyone out there can help,

we are looking for any information on GSD / Alsatian Breeders in the UK prior to 1940

e.g. Kennel history, pedigrees, stud cards, photographs of the breeders & any of their dogs either originals or scanned copies.

Pagan, If you would please email me that info as well.Thanks in advance. raintree kennels@ gulftel.com  I had talked some while ago with an individual whom used to work for the Scottish Yard years ago..then later his dog took the Cruft.He was very informative about the Alsation GSD.He is up in years and is just enjoying his life now.

Sorry Pagan couldnt say. I have two 'old style bound' hard backed scrap books both of them holding many old photo's and paper cut outs just like this one of a variety of dogs and kennels, some shots taken of the dogs with their owners, even one with a boy riding on the back of a Shepherd (and they say the size has increased over the years?  ) A claim that sure dont hold much water at side of some of these snaps !!
