Person you really need to contact is Chris Hazel, she is still on GSDL council I believe. When she lived in Isle of Man we visited her and wow she had a whole room dedicated to the GSD, all carefully archieved. So if anyone worries about losing our GSD History, I would say try Chris first and if she aint got it, then its probably lost.

After ww2.The german shepherd was renamed the Alsation in the UK so not to put fear into the people that bred there.The person I referred to  is Sir Mike Charlton.

I have photo's of Ch Cilla's Pinnacle of Picardy is this who you mean? Also Cillamaid of Picardy and Cillallah of Picardy and wondered if these could be litter mates to the Cilla you request above, have many more photo's of Picardy dogs but still much to look through so when I have time I will keep looking through all my photo;s just  in case I find a Cilla, meanwhile let me know if any of these are any good and I will try and scan them to send to you.  

Also still looking through for any photo I may have of Kaffir of Silverlands, so far the only Silverlands dogs I have found are Birdswing of Silverlands, Hendrick of Silverlands (born Feb 1936) and Hendrick's Sire, Emigrant of Silverlands born Jun 1935 (his sire being Ch. Arrogant of Silverlands born August 1933) and many others.

Sorry have not found any of the ones you named yet but maybe some of the above are the ancestors of the ones you seek.

a bit of info to add to the link that was added about Kaffir of Silverlands;

the Silverlands Kennel was started in 1933, Fay of Peak Hill sire: Ch Armin Ernaslieb > dam: Ch Shene of Peak Hill

Arrogant of Silverlands qualified Ch 18/11/36

There was a Ch Dawn of If  KCBS No. 542FF qualified as Ch on 23/8/28,  sire: Allahson of If dam > dam: Tosca of Picardy breeder Capt A.P.R. Robson there was also a bitch Dora of If

some more info knew I recognised the name Cilla of Picardy I dont have sire and dam but she was imported from France probably had her name changed like so many early imports, she was from the Terraqueuse kennel of M Tourtille.

She was mated to Ch Allahson of If KCBS no. 361CC (dam Dierma v Humboldtspark reg with UK KC as Diana of If)

they produced Ch Cilla's Picardy  (B) KCBS no. 717GG

Ch Cillahson of Picardy (D) KCBS no. 836EE

Ch Danko of Picardy (D) KCBS no. 313HH
