If I lived in that area, that really wouldn't be comforting news to me. What is threatening behavior, a dog running away from the officer who shot him? A dog that is barking at an officer? A dog that looks at an officer? Slowly but surely all our rights as dog owners are being eroded by the very people who are assumed to protect and serve and the AR people.

I'm with Blitzen and can't see any "policy" placating these matters. "Oh they have orders to shoot dogs, cool that explains it all." Gimme a break, a man can wave a gun around and they have to send a dog on him instead of shoot but heaven forbid a dog look at a cop, not even theateningly and it's toast. Sounds like free target practice to me not upholding the law. How many people actually even have dogs that would bite a person? They act like every grandma has a attack pit in her yard.

This was a overreaction by law enforcement for sure, That being said not all law enforcement are setting at home just waiting for the big call out to crush or freedoms, society creates what it creates and this is the end result now one way is to prepare for the appocolips(not spelled right) and boast about fire power and survival issues or work the system as much as possible and remember one must  be ready at all times to defend themselfs and always remember you only have your self to rely upon.  It,s not the lougest barking dogs that need to be whatched. I my self believe in the old adage keep your friends at arms length and keep your eneimes closer.

Wasnt this thread about a terrible error made by the police and not a thread about world domination?

My feelings go out to the owners of the dogs and I hope the attorney general of the state this happened in takes measure of the situation. But only action from the general public will keep it in the forfront. What happens to us is generally allowed by us.

Sorry, I wasn't able to get a response to the policy for 'Hog Tying' the Mayor in his underwear. I think they will need to establish that for the future.

Ugly,

I only read your responce to my post, the rest is just more of the same ole stuff.

My point is that if you awaken in the dark, with a gun in your hand half awake and paranoid, you might shoot a family member.

Or a fireman, or a nieghbor trying to wake you up because your house is on fire.

Or you might even be only dreaming of something and fire a round through three walls and out striking a small child in the house next door.

Seriously man,  your fear's will bring you down.   I know where your coming from don't get me wrong, but you take it three times around the block.

Have you ever considered moving to Idaho?   A little wilderness might do you some good.

I'm trying to be fair here ugly, I'm not trying to rag on you here, I understand your fear's of the future but your not being realistic.

My advice would be to find some new reading material and get out more often.  Put a motion sensor on the light switch and think before you react.

Brent.

Well, I guess it's safe to say if dogs can be shot at free will or running away ... so can our children.

Your Children Belong TO the State, not to you.  ..

Texas recently proved that.  'They' Feds & law enforcement,  just removed them (400+ Children) based on faulty allegations & Lies.   There was no Due process.   They were taken to a Warehouse,  away from their parents, young girls put in Straps & stirrups by Gynaecologists & 'examined".  There are more incidences of Teen pregnancy in any Inner City than were in this Mormom compound.

Of course, later they were returned.  America is Over.   Welcome to AmeriKa.
