Veronica, I have been on the short end of the stick many times. People here will learn this sooner or later.

1. Deal with reputable breeders.

2. Go and see for yourself.

Never buy a dog without going to see it in person , along with the fortitude to inforce the questions and get the answers before you buy the dog..call someone else and check with some seasoned breed people that have been around a long time and know the ropes...

Yes, Ms. Yellow Rose...even though we both knew there were crooked dog brokers in the world, we got a further education when helping your friend find a good dog (with a generous purchasing budget!) over a period of several MONTHS who was: 1) registered  2) really existed 3) had genuine hip and elbow evaluations and not fantasy evaluations 4) Actually belonged to the person who was selling the dog 5) were being sold by people who would not evade questions 6) had a modicrum of training.  By the end, I think all three of use were tired.

This thread is kind of confussing, It seems that it is about 2 different people. Well any way, I just wanted to say that I have purshased a puppy with Daniela Huppe, and I am very happy that I did! I recieved a really nice puppy! He is even more then I asked for! Will I buy another from her? YOU BET!
