Congratulations!!!!
Karen & Ule did it!!!! 100/92/87 = 279. They have qualified for the USA Nationals!! They will compete in the regional championship this weekend--the requirement is only "participation," so "less" pressure.

Mary,
As Karen is a member of WVSC and lives in BC, she would then be a PNW entry. That means that the regional trophy from the nationals is on her "radar," too. She would be one of only three (as far as I can tell) female-team entries at the nationals, thus far.

Karen belongs to Delta Schutzhund Club in Vancouver. This club also has SV Judge Doug Deacon and Ralph Gilby along with many other fine handlers. I have watched Karen train a few times. Her feel for her dog comes back with a happy devoted dog that most handlers only dream of. May the wind be at her back and the road smooth on the way to the nationals.

I'm sure Karen is very happy and greatly relieved. After the puppies she just wasn't sure they could pull it off that quickly.

dont get my words wrong. im not knocking the accomplishment. i will say that all the training, travel, titles, etc. should be a consideration of anyone wanting to compete.
would you be willing to sponser trophies for "working" dogs who enter the sieger show?
im not against participation awards. our club gives them to all youth and first time showers.

I thought I had made it clear: I HAVE sponsored trophies for working dogs entering the Sieger Show! High Scoring V-rated dog/bitch at a Sieger Show with scores from a USA-sanctioned trial within one year of the show...who do you think that is likely to be As I said. only one bitch qualified out of the whole show entry. ONE! I can't remember if the one for the male was even awarded, or not. But, I don't think that there were more than 2 potential candidates.
