Right

So according to Aqua the organisers being the USA are to blame for this oversight, and that is being polite

But why on earth would they want it said in the German Language from the beginning,

I can hazard a guess that more competitors and public viewers understand English above the German Language

It is a big let down for the competitors and the general public by the people who are running this venue. and looking at it weeks ago i thought it would be run imppecable but it seems not

Aqua, you have the judges' nationalities wrong. The Slovakian, Austrian and Canadian judges are for the 2009 event. This year it's two Germans and a Swiss judge, and last I checked German was one of the official languages of Switzerland.

Three judges, including Günther Diegel of Germany, were changed at the last moment due to "health". According to the web site, there is a Swiss, Italian and a German judging.  The Netherlands website has results posted very quickly and totals where appropriate. Of course, they are unofficial and still a few flights to go here and there.

since some of you aren't even here to listen, why continue to complain???

as for me, I catch some things, miss most of it, and really enjoyed most of the dogs I saw today.  Scores be damned, there were some nice dogs to see today, I could care less what language was being spoken

Why do you say we are complaining just because we air our views on why a foreign language should be used in an english speaking country ,Why the need for it

You are a lucky fellow to be watching it live, but if i was there i would want to know what was going on, not have to ask each time something happens

In this day and age it is poor and not a good refection on the organisers

However enjoy the rest of the competition and have a good day,

leave us poor souls on this site to moan and air our views

I will here it all first hand, the good and the bad when the Belgian team gets back home

Just to clear something up, the fact that there was no translation at the 2008 WUSV event has nothing to do with any one individual.  It is a rule of the WUSV that the critiques at this even will be given by the judge in the language that he/she feels the most comfortable with.  The amount of time given for each critique is also covered in this rule.  If you go to the worlds next year in Germany you may hear Judge Lance Collins of Canada giving his protection critique in English without German translation.  Perhaps now, some of you may have learned to find out the truth before passing on information that you get 4th and 5th hand and ripping a man that has worked countless hours and traveled countless miles to try and bring a world class event to USCA and his salary for this endeavor is $0.00.  Any questions please feel free to contact me.

David well said. Although Lance speaks great Hundendeutch. This thread lost its intent because of Mysery who is a wannabee schutzhund know it all. She turned this thread negative with the plane shot and kept it there with her acidic tongue. There is only one vid of protection availabe from another tread and it is  ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4xSqAbO1RM  There is two planes here at safe times for the World Champ. Mysery do not even respond to this you little wannabee. You were there and spent your time being pissed at small things rather tha learning at the cathedral. That is why you are and will allways be a wannabee. Thanks to all,   but people like her make people like me sign off on this board. Take care.

I was going to send an enlightning Post or E-mail to the MYSERY but it appears she only takes her cheap acerbic shots from the dark. What a small piece of work she is. Now it is good bye .
