Hello People,

I have a 5-6 months old femals pup out of german lines. Her ears are not up yet and show no signs of movement, she is almost finished teeth, only two baby teeth are still in mouth. We try to put up ears but did not wrk, what you people think

I recently had a puppy like this, also German lines, one of his ears finally went up at about 9 months, so there is still hope! However, the ear bases were up from an early stage. When he was small I gave him sachets of unflavoured gelatin in his food but I do not know if this did any good. Later I gave him tablets called osteocart which contain chondriotin and glucosamine among other things, I don't know if it was a coinicidence but within a week of using these there was a marked improvement, and within 2 weeks the floppy ear was up. We had also tried taping and ear molds for short periods but he just ended up with his ears irritated and sore.

Tape them up to helo them stand, the sooner the better.

Give her some vitamin E every day and they will be up in a couple of weeks

Pot luck... I've got one, bought him to show... beautiful dog... no ears! We taped them... (he looked like one of the little guys from The King and I) but... nope, he has floppy ears! His breeder offered to replace him but... he's Joshy squashy dog and I wouldn't part with him, it wasn't meant to be... karma... call it what you like.

Does anyone know where I can buy "Osteocart".

I desperately need some for my 6 month females ear.

I need to try that and taping.

She had a bad ear infection about a month ago, it fell and has not even tried to come back up.

I have read great things about Osteocart, but it is made in Argentina and I am unable to find a distributor in the U.S.

Any assistance would be GREATLT appreciated.
