Im pleased so many people are joining in the complaint to the BBC.  I just wonder who they think they are trying to dictate who can and cant show at a show!  No other hobby would get dictated to by a TV company like this, and the should be shot down.  If every one in every breed who showed wrote and complained they would get far more complaints than they did with the Ross thingy that went on a few weeks back!

Im sad that the show isnt going on the Beeb as my grandmother who is not able enough to go, loves to watch it on TV and she has said how sad she is that it isnt going to be on.  Im sure there are many others out there who get their doggy fix through the coverage.

Liebe, I really don't care about the BBC not being at Crufts, and neither should your Grandmother, another CH will pick up the option and we may see more of the dogs and get less of the presenters chatting about themselves.

What we really need is the BBC to put some pressure on the KC to accept the proposals put to them by our BC and to perhaps show an honest picture of breeders in this country!  The fact that it's their very bias programme that has brought about all this turmoil, might be pointed out to them too!

It boggles my mind that the BBC has that much control over what you get to watch on TV.It has left me speechless.

Missbeeb, I have also emailed Horse and Country channel on sky and suggested they cover it!  Only recent I saw a programme covering the Birmingham Show 07, so they already have an idea!

I have to say on one side of things, if there is no coverage it will probably make it easier for people to get round crufts as they wouldnt have to avoid camera crews!  Im going to show there next year but not with GSDs for the first time :-)

I have forwarded an email to my MP about the KC's lack of spine and enclosing the GSD suggestions and high lighted the fact that the KC have always been against any proactive approach to GSD breeding.  I have also shown how the KC have happily registered 1/2 brother/sister litters and that these dogs have been able to go on to receive Champ Status.

Fabulous... if only everyone would do the same, I think so many have tried and got thoroughly cheesed off getting nowhere over the years, it's understandable I guess that they've kind of given up with the KC.
