Am I the only one who thinks this linebreeding is a little...much, and close?

Iam NOT putting down this dog, nor others like it, Im just curious, what are the benefits to breeding not only this close, but that much?

As with breeding this close, you double, triple etc...the good/desired traits, but you also increase the bad/undesirable traits, so I would like some honest, KNOWLEDGABLE feedback please.

Yep, me too and is it necessary?  I doubt it!

Maybe the data is wrong..    It does not make sense they would have to breed that close.I do not see the pay off in the end..

Did they not have other dogs to chose from?  Eek. Anyone with a basic High School science class knows the dangers of breeding that close, and that many times. Things that make you go HMMMMM

To each their own I suppose, but those lines are actually good lines, for the most part, but never, ever would I want something so closely linebred, though this really isnt all that uncommon practice now-a-days.

My only hope is that if there are issues, this close of linebreeding wouldnt be repeated, but as you know, MissBeeb, we are talking about in an IDEAL world here HAHAH

Honestly at that close, its not linebreeding anymore, its inbreeding. Inbreeding has no purpose in the dog world when there are so many lines to choose from. Who would buy it? Someone who dearly loves both parents or someone who hasn't done the appropriate research in order to know that there are much better options than a brother/sister breeding. Good lines or not, there are some things that just shouldn't be attempted. The puppy does look nice, however, so like has been said, 'to each their own'.
