Hi There
Can anyone tell me if there is a website where i can find out the dates for forthcoming shows in germany .thanks for your help

http://www.schaeferhunde.de/site/index.php?id=178 You can find by sorting for Landesgruppen, Ortsgruppen (Region or Club), Date, type of venue (all, SchH, Agility, Show)
National and international dates are on a PDF file at: http://www.schaeferhunde.de/site/fileadmin/pdf/vrz_mw_603_veranstaltungssperren_hv.pdf
The Koerung Plan is not posted yet for 2009 though some ot the LG's have their own dates posted on their indvidual sites.
You can go to each LG at: http://www.schaeferhunde.de/site/index.php?id=655 (scroll to the bottom)
All dates are also printed in the SV magazine that comes with a membership of about 100 US for foreign membership and also you can buy the online SID 1 year subscription for about 160 US which gives you weekly all the show and koer results and in SchH and FH, the regional championships. SchH trial results at club level are not published by the SV but sometimes are by the ortsgruppen (city group i.e. dog club) that hosted it.
The WUSV bi annual magazine is also for free on the SV website under WUSV.

I forgot to add that there is not much posted yet - SV is on Holiday for a couple weeks and few new dates are listed yet.

In 2009, the big sheepherding trial (Bundesleitungshuten) is in
Stettbach, near Schweinfurt, the home of the Kirschental Kennel.
The Ortsgroup (local SV club) in Schweinfurt and the Fueller Family
are trying to make this a special event for all people who are
interested in the old fashioned work of "original" shepherd dogs. We
invite all interested people & advise you to make plans now for next
year!
The dates of the Bundesleistungshuten & the Bundessiegerprufung are
very compatible for those making travel plans to attend both events.
Donaueschingen is 297 km away from Stettbach.
