Mystere

We knew it was only a matter of time.  Time's run out.  ABC discovered Jemima's piece on purebreds and done its own version.   They even showed a bit of an interview with Jemima herself.    (That name must be a "British thing."  NO ONE in America would ever be named Jemima.  )

Breeders actually bragged about father/daughter breedings
live on camera.    Breeds that have been virtually ruined, such as the English Bulldog, had breeders, on camera, admitting the travesty they'd created and the health problems that resulted.

We cannot, in good conscience, argue with what was presented...unfortunately.

This should be a must read for anyone that wants to breed or show:

My hat's off to this man.

Anybody that has ever worked a working breed dog knows this is the state of affairs in the show world. It is what it is, and people who feed into this thus destroying our breed purposewise, are what they are.......clueless. But it does no good to argue with them because their intent is selfish oriented for ego instead of breed oriented. Thank god there are still people breeding some GS for their intent....and you just have to let others wallow in their ignorance .

Would that it were that simple.  Unfortunately, their ignorance, wallowed in or not, is what provides the AR nuts with ammunition and what will bring them down around our ears.  I'd love to leave them to their own devices, but we are all  in a rowhouse--if theirs catches on fire, ours burns, too.

I usually try to steer way clear of racial discussion, but...
The Brits (and other cultures) don't have the same angle on political-correctness or racial slurs that we do in the US. They didn't have the same ad campaigns for pancakes & syrup in the 50's & 60's we had here. They do have their own versions, many of which would be perfectly correct here, going completely unnoticed.
