I give up.   I've googled my brains out and looked at every list of dog titles I can find.   I can't find any that list the definitions of these two titles.    Would someone please advise?

Thanks,
Sheri

Sheri,

I found somewhere online that ZPU is obedience & tracking.
Couldn't find anything as to what FPr was but I did see it as some of the titles dogs had.
Did you see it on a particular dog?

FPr is like an advanced tracking title (and comes in FPr1, FPr2, & FPr3), somewhat like FH but done in Czech or Slovakia.

Much like their ZVV and SVV is much like SchH .

To hear some tell it, these Czech titles are more difficult to earn than their typical counterparts(SVV/ZVV is harder than SchH, so forth).

I can't help with the FPr, but ZPU is part of a series of working evaluation and obedience tests.  A dog would attain the ZOP, ZPU1, then ZPU2, in that order.  Appearantly far less demanding than the ZVV titles or other sporting equivalents, but their total sum includes some basic obedience, tracking and a "defense" evaluation.  Descriptions available in the following links, and you'll probably want a translator.

Thank you all ............. I was really stumped ............ these are titles my new female's sire has on the pedigree.  I didn't give them a thought when they were listed on here ............ with typos and all ........... but when I saw them on a pedigree I figured they were real and wanted to know what they were.

Thanks again,
Sheri

I wouldn't have known myself had I not inquired about and reserved a Czech stud dog for fall breedings who has FPr1, FPR2 and FPr3 titles as some of his multiple working titles.

I've never seen/heard of ZPU, tho, so I didn't even attempt that one.

FPr is a tracking title. My pups mom is out of the Czech rep and has her FPr1 and 2

That's what I said earlier, GSDguy. Glad to know I had that one right. Thanks!
