Stryker was running loose the entire time. The fliers we posted kept area residents interested in looking for him. Calls placed to Melinda were always followed up on. Eventually a lady contacted her and told her that stryker was sleeping near her house. Melinda went to investigate. She shared information with animal control and a trap was set in the area. The first night he didnt go in...just like all the other traps that were set...then Melinda bought rolls of Natural Balance dog food...somehow animal control ended up with it and WHALLA Stryker was caught. Melinda picked him up from the shelter after some hassling from one of the shelter personel thank goodness the animal control guy is nice and recognized stryker and melinda too i think. Also Melinda was not going to leave there without my dog she said...I beleived her and so did the shelter people I guess!

There are many more details but thats that basics.

I love happy endings.

So happy to actually see this wonderful news in print. After talking with Beth today I was elated to know Stryker had been found .....and after navigating through that mess with the shelter. Kassandra, I'm so happy for you and your baby Stryker. Give him a big hug from everyone who has followed this and prayed for you and him. Hope to talk to you again someday.   Would love to see  reporter Rae Chelle Davis from WIBW  news channel 13.. hint hint .. Beth :) do a public service follow up on the news of this happy ending. Oh Happy Day!  I cried when I first heard about him being lost and I cried when I got the PM saying he had been found.  It just broke my heart and now I am high as a kite!  Kassandra please post pics of him so we can see for ourselves.  And please keep us posted on his well being etc.  He's a part of us all now.  Don't just fade away!  WHOO HOO!  ATTA BOY STYKER!  Our prayers have been answered.

Bump bump bump bump---this needs to be at the top of the messagelist for a while!  Good news is scarce enough these days, and this isn't just good, it's GREAT!!
