The clip-clop-clip-clop of the horse-drawn Mennonite buggies passing on the street in front imparts a feeling of serenity, especially on Sundays. I don't know what the occasion might be today, but there is a lot of horse-drawn and bicycle traffic passing both directions, much more than usual, and high spirits in the voices of the passers-by. A few even waved, which hardly ever happens. The dogs don't seem to notice, 5 week old pups under the tree out front least of all.
On such a lovely, sunny holiday afternoon, all of those things, (and the lunch just finished) combine to make all seem "right" with the world and our Lord.

My husband right now, was laid off, had every bit of his savings cheated away and his wife died at your age....... He had to start over completely...... No job, no money, no wife that he loved dearly. He worked, scrimped and saved, got out of dept and now has been able to save a bit for retirement............
Life without abuse is an excellent adventure! Saddle up and enjoy the ride.

What a nice, serene looking place there! Love the red shutters and door. Just got done trimming Echo's nails and brushing her out. She looks like someone actually cares about her! Hope you had a marvelous weekend. Keep on keeping on!

I attempted to clean out the garage - 3 days later - still some work to do.
Any one want to buy a '73 Harley FLH newly rebuild top and bottom, a childs western saddle or a adult's hunter jumper saddle? A portion of the proceeds will go to support Shelly Journey Home.
Husband worked on his shelving project. He's such perfectionist....and it's really starting to take shape.....
Dogs got walked a half dozen times, Hero brought back the ball about a thousand times......
Just a quiet hard working weekend.......not bad, could have been more fun, but all around good expecially after a pitcher of margaritas!
