Shelley and the GSD Underground Railroad #2 - Page 5

I AM coming that way! Just wrapping up a few loose ends, then its Westward Ho. My hostess graciously offered to let me help out around the farm in lieu of rent and dog board, so I have been trying to hold up my end of the deal, thus not online as much as usual lately. Granted... I slept most of Monday. LOL

Here are couple of pix I took this morning of my smallest best friend and one of my all-time hero-dogs, Tigger Too and Eagle vom Eichenluft. Tigger says to tell everybody that if they forget to vote for her in the Cutest Dog contest every day, she is sending in the GSD special forces team to straighten us all out.
If Eagle looks damp, its because he WAS damp, just out of the pool.

Oh it's about an hour or so up highway 20 from my house SitasMom. Bowman Lake I think it's called. I had been down that road before but never driven that far in. We were about 20 miles from the highway before we stopped. The pavement ran out at 15 miles in and it was rough going. I was worried my puppy would puke in his crate. There is another lake maybe 4 miles from the highway, the one I intended to stop at. The holiday had too many people out so we kept driving until we didn't see people or cars camping anymore. I don't like to have to reighn my dogs in when we bump into someone on the trail.

It's pretty but it's no Montana. God I can't wait to move.

4-pack I love that lake,it used to be not that crowded there,Im about 1/2 hour from the hwy 20 turn off.

About 6 miles east of Westcliff Colorado and maybe 2 miles north of hwy 96 is heaven on earth to us.........pentence is Houston TX. We're getting there as fast as we can!

Sitasmom - Wow!  That does look like heaven from Florida!  Amazingly beauiful!

Ah yes Colorado, very beautiful. It's just growing too quickly for my taste.

Hi 4pack, is there trout in that lake? I love to fly fish :)  Beautiful pictures. Sitasmom I know where Westcliff is, my daughter met a young man from there, but you know how long distance relationships go. Shelley I love the pictures of Tigger and Eagle, they look so comfortable.
